Period:
This specimen retained the form it took when it was dropped into existence between 88 and 92 million years ago. Almost a cigar box full of similar coprolites were found scattered in a 50' x 100' area grated level for the construction of an elementary school. The site primarily contained coprolites, but a few shark teeth and a couple of unidentified fish vertebra were also found.
This coprolite went to live with a paleontologist friend so kids that she works with can see it up close and personal. Updated photos will be coming soon!
