Spiral Fish Coprolite

What is the saying about polishing a turd? Well, this spiral coprolite requires no polish. It was found by a diver looking for megalodon teeth off the east coast of the United States and spent a number of years as a conversation piece in Bert's Bar in Charleston, SC. Although it has no visible inclusions, it could have served as a model for the popular poop emoji. It was produced by a large fish with a spiral valve...possibly even a megalodon!
