Coprolite with Longitudinal Striations

We don't know what creature created this furrowed coprolite. Although size and configuration vary somewhat, sphincter sculptures with striations have been found in sediments that were once part of fresh water stream environments dating from the Permian through the end of the Cretaceous. The area where this coprolite was found was a Triassic floodplain.
