This classification of coprolite gets it name from the Latin word falcatus (crescent), referring to its
the thin, curved shape, and the Greek word kopros (dung).

This crescent shaped, marine coprolite does not contain any inclusions. It's shape reminds me of the bananas in Runts candy. Although it has no flavor, it will stick to your tongue!
