Carnivore Coprolite with Barnacles

This coprolite played host to some modern barnacles - talk about a crappy neighborhood! We don't know where this was found. However, the presence of these little crustacean homes (yep, barnacles are crustaceans) leads me to believe it was likely found off-shore or in a coastal river of the southeastern United States. This serves as a nice example of what coprolites found by divers might look like before they are cleaned up.
