The producer of this coprolite obviously enjoyed Cretaceous Crunchies! Due to the presence of bone fragments, it is likely this loaf of carnivore goodness was pinched off by a dinosaur. As you can see from the last photo, bone fragments were visible at the center of the weathered end of the uncut stone. It is interesting that the digestive system of the creature had a way of moving sharp bone fragments to the center in order to "cushion the blow" of ejection. The photo of the uncut coprolite and information were provided by the seller, Yinan Wang of Arlington, VA. Prior to being cut, the coprolite measured 6 cm x 5 cm x 12 cm long.
