Coprolite with Interesting Bone Impression

Whether bad weather or global pandemic, sometimes you just have to play with your poop (the fossilized variety). Anyone who has played with coprolites knows that they are little jackets that preserve small treasures that might not otherwise survive fossilization or erosion. Here is another fun example. This broken coprolite didn't look like anything special. A bit of bone that was barely visible was peaking out of one end. Under the microscope it was evident that part of the bone broke away leaving a wonderful impression! The type of bone is a mystery.
