Here we have two spiral coprolites from Cretaceous Morocco. It is unclear whether the top coprolite is hollow because the center portion is missing, it began uncoiling before fossilization, or it was just pooped that way. Removing some of the sandstone matrix from the underside of the specimen that looks like it's budding (lower right) revealed a very interesting texture.
