A heteropolar spiral coprolite is considered to be a microspiral if the coils are concentrated within less than half the length of the coprolite. These are generally attributed to sharks, may have been produced by a number of fish with a spiral valve. These included, but are not limited to rays, skates, lungfish, and gars.
